Imagine for a second that you were one of the original human beings. This is before technology, before language, before books, before society. Before everything that you have come to learn about being a human being on earth through other people's experiences, including your own. What would be the meaning of life from that perspective?
It would not be possible to answer this question, you don't even have the words to ask it. That's the point though, you answer the question by just living life and finding meaning in the experiences. Words are just tools we use to define local phenomena happening on earth and in the universe.
Because people have existed before you, these people have shared there experiences in order to leave behind the answer to this question. The problem though, in my opinion, is that the answer to this question is subjective. People can arrive to similar conclusions, have similar experiences...but can never go through the exact same thing. So life is going to mean something different for everybody.
You could read a book or let someone answer this question for you, some books need to be read. I think if you want to know the answer to this question though, live your life and find out.
