So a lot of us have probably asked this question at one time or another. Is death the end? When you really think about the question it actually derives from a selfish, shallow perspective. You're not asking if when you die does existence itself end...you're asking if when you die, do you stop being conscious completely.
There was some information that I came across that somewhat explains this. I'm not saying it's true or false, I'm just giving you the opportunity to become conscious of it. But you know for a fact that death is not the end completely, because people die everyday yet life still goes on. The pandemic(corona virus) doesn't really change fundamental facts...it's really the same thing just a different moment in human history. As far as what happens to YOU when you die, you would have to ask yourself what are you? If you believe in an afterlife, you would have to assume that there is more to you than your physical existence. I don't really "believe" in an afterlife, let alone the word "believe". Either the after life is something that exists or it doesn't, independent of what I believe or think. Becoming conscious of ideas or beliefs stir up mental activity, but believing things to be true is not the same as realizing it. Life from the perception of what you are is just you awakening to the universe as a physical being known as human. What happens to you when you die? I can't really tell you that, we are all just illusions of human consciousness anyway. If you're still conscious after death you're definitely no longer human. Life goes on though, you're just no longer conscious of the event.
